St Johns suffered their second average season on the bounce finishing a dull mid table. Never quite good enough to push for promotion but too good for relegation.......what's that I hear you say ed...Tottenham!!!
Last season is was primarily a goalie crisis that left St Johns up shit creek without a paddle.
This season it was injuries & a sucession of horrible cup draws that saw St Johns go flying out of all three cups in the first round. St Johns also needed to integrate some young Turks from their academy at TVU to keep the juices flowing.
Perhaps most of all it was the constant changes to the St Johns side which saw them fail in their quest for honours. There was not one consecutive week where St John's fielded the same side. A lack of regularity from a large part of the St Johns squad cost them dear.
